Arguably no other business better embodies our purpose; enabling communities to thrive.Join us on the journeyAn exciting opportunity is now available for an Operations Manager to join our team based in Perth, supporting our PPP Schools contract.The Operations Manager is predominantly focused on delivering the reactive, corrective and planned maintenance strategy and compliance obligations as stipulated in the contract including analysing asset condition data, lifecycle & backlog maintenance, and compliance across our client's assets including Zero Harm to our people including our subcontractors.What you'll doProvide day to day technical support to the operations team including the development, implementation and ongoing management of initiatives and actions stipulated in the contract.Work closely with the Contract Manager to support building compliance, asset maintenance management framework across the portfolio.Work with Finance to ensure that all financial aspects are accurate, timely and provide consistent information to the Client.Provide 24/7 support to ensure effective resolution of portfolio issues.Foster and maintain positive working relationships with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers and consultants.Manage the delivery of modifications and minor works.Manage the contract and service delivery in accordance with Contract KPI's & client and manager expectations.What you'll bringQualifications in either Building Services, Facility Management Engineering or Asset Management at tertiary(desirable) level.Experience in Operations Management / Project Management of a diverse range of Social Infrastructure projects.Experience in the management, estimating, programming, planning, design, delivery of FM projects and building works.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including conflict management, balancing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.Experience leading and coordinating large and diverse teams.The ability to manage reactive and planned maintenance, with a trades background in HVAC, Fire, Hydraulics or mechanical.More than anything, you'll have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a drive to provide high quality outcomes for the Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services business unit and our clients.Why work for us?Working for the Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services business unit, means being part of something new and exciting.
