The Opportunity
On the back of a sustained 10+ year growth period we are excited to be adding another experienced and energetic Manager to our senior operational management team who will be responsible for one of our multi-site service delivery portfolios in WA. The role has between 3-5 Area Manager direct reports who in turn are responsible for site service delivery.
The Role & Responsibilities:
Reporting initially to the Chief Executive Officer, the person we are seeking will have the following profile and ambition:

- Confident to build knowledge quickly to be able to adopt current best practice and company standards to then lead/manage the cleaning equipment, tools and consumables sourcing and usage requirements.
- Well organised, with an eye for detail and administratively competent and comfortable with using normal modern day business technology and systems.
The key to success in this role is maintaining a constant presence in the field with both Area Managers and Clients, and being able to efficiently onboard, train, develop and support the Area Managers to ensure HT Services Clients are serviced to our ambitious standards whilst delivering the expected commercial outcomes for our business.

Your Skills and Experience:
We are seeking an experienced leader and manager of people and teams having at least 5 years line management experience within either the Commercial Facilities Sector or another multi-site operational service business where similar managerial demands and requirements formed a substantial part of the role.
Experience within the cleaning or facilities management industries is advantageous but not essential.
You can:
- Become a consistent role model of HT’s culture and behavioural standards for all Area Managers and Site Cleaning Staff
- Onboard, train, develop and support Area Managers in all aspects of their site management role once familiar following an initial 6 week induction period
- Motivate and communicate effectively with team members, suppliers and clients and solve problems quickly as they arise.
- If needed, be relied on to get your hands dirty and get stuck in when required to help the team if needed.
- Supply a current Australian Drivers Licence
- Satisfy Police Clearance checks
Qualifications
Ideally, a Group Operations Manager will have undertaken relevant training with previous Employers, or if a prior owner of a commercial multi-site services business, has extensive operational and site management expertise.
Desirable but non-essential qualifications include:
- Formal Management and/or Supervisory qualifications or structured training
- Train the Trainer Qualifications
- Business Management and Administration Certifications
- OHS/First Aid Management Certifications
- A general knowledge of the Commercial Property Industry and stakeholders involved
- Proven manager of people and teams involving between 50 -100 employees
