What do we have on offer?
We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Operations Manager is a key member of the Leadership Team and will oversee and manage the portfolio of hotels and properties across the group. Operationally driven with attention to detail, you will thrive in successfully running the day-to-day operations of the properties.
What you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team to drive positive outcomes and deliver business objectives.
- Developing strategies across the group to deliver products and services that meet the expectations of guests in accordance with the brand.
- Managing compliance requirements for guests, staff, and visitors.
- Analysing the performance of each property, identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.
- Management of profitability and performance to maximise return on investment, including expense management across each property.
- Working with the leadership team to develop strategies to maximise occupancy, revenue, staff utilisation, productivity and profitability.
- Ensuring each facility is providing outstanding customer service and product.
- Monitoring and responding to feedback.
- Improving and standardising operational policies, procedures and processes.
- Developing and implementing staff training programs.
- Liaising with owners, guests, staff, and contractors to deliver desired outcomes.
- Working with the leadership team to monitor organisational performance and achieve performance targets.
- Providing department leaders with guidance and direction on a strategic level, including providing regular performance reviews and feedback.
- Inspiring staff, leading by example and being a great company ambassador.
- Fostering an environment of effective cooperation and communication across all departments.
What the successful candidate will have:
- Operations, leadership and management experience within facilities, property, or hospitality sector
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to communicate with various levels of management and problem solve
- A proven track record in training, developing and building a high performance culture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise professionally with all stakeholders
- Exceptionally strong strategic management and organisational skills
- Hands-on and solution focused attitude
- Strong ability to process improve and implement systems and strategies
- Full, unrestricted driver’s license
