Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team and lead the operational aspects of our planting projects. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of leadership skills, operational expertise, and a passion for environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee and coordinate planting projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a diverse team of planting professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a positive work environment.
Resource Management: Effectively allocate and manage resources, including
personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project outcomes.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations
and safety standards, implementing and enforcing safety protocols.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost
reduction, and increased operational efficiency.
Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for planting projects,
monitoring expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the landscaping or environmental services industry.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices and landscaping
principles.
- Ability to problem-solve, make decisions, and work effectively in a fast-paced
environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
