Operations Manager

To be successful in this role, you need to have a broad skillset that includes financial management, administration, and contract management. It is essential that you can collaborate and work as part a team. Prior experience working in the Federal Government setting is highly regarded but not essential.A Baseline Clearance for this opportunity is High Desirable but not mandatory for this role.Role Responsibilities:

• Report to Director and lead a team in management and delivery of related workload.
• Build and maintain effective, professional relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver complex and high-quality papers, reports, briefs, and presentations and manage the agenda and programs of work.
• Oversee the branch and program finances including budget management.
• Work with leadership to manage the staffing profile in an environment of mixed resourcing including assisting the branch with staff recruitment, resource planning and capability uplift.
• Maintain an accurate branch organisational structure working across the organization to ensure information is reflected throughout the organisation.
• Manage centralised procurement of goods and services on behalf of the branch including Contract administration of day-to-day activities.
• Reduce the administrative burden of the branch through effective and consistent processes and help ensure that people have the accesses and resources required to do their job.
• Provide support for coordination of events, presentations, and meetings.
