OPERATIONS MANAGER
Vital Chemical are renowned as industry leaders in the manufacture, supply and installation of erosion and sediment control, dust suppression, water treatment and other unique and sustainable environmental solutions.
This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a professional, driven and commercially focused Operations Manager to manage daily site operations at Vital Chemical. This role will provide an essential link between the strategic goals of our executive team and our dedicated production and project teams on the ground, and this role is key to the success of Vital Chemical.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day to day operations of the business specific to production, projects and properties.
- Driving a positive company culture through operational excellence.
- Implementing efficiencies and streamlining processes for continual operational improvement.
- Building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Overseeing and conforming with safety standards in conjunction with the HSEQ Manager.
- Supporting Human Resources with employee recruitment, training & performance, and evaluation.

You MUST have:
- Strong Leadership skills.
- Industry knowledge & expertise with a trade/operator/project management background in the manufacturing civil or construction industry.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards, and Legislation.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage various project elements simultaneously.
- A mature, hands-on, and self-motivated work ethic.
- Team management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
- Drivers Licence.
- White Card - Construction.
Preferred, but not essential:
- Licence to operate a Heavy Rigid (HR) Vehicle.
- Licence to operate a Forklift.
- First Aid Certificate.
