About the Role:
Leads the successful execution of all front of house operations at Moxy. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department. Ensures that standards and procedures are being followed. Leads specific team while assisting with meeting or exceeding property goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage departments.
- Ensure that all guest requests and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Manage and train hotel crew to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Assist with budgeting and financial management, including monitoring expenses and revenue.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure efficient operations and seamless guest experiences.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Create and nurture a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement and a passion for providing service.
- Reviews financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operational managerial roles within the hospitality industry, preferably in a similar upscale or lifestyle hotel environment.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of driving operational targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving and a passion for innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
