Operations Specialist - Mortgage Servicing, Challenger Mortgage Management
Challenger Mortgage Management (CMM) operates a state-of-the-art servicing platform that manages a diverse range of mortgage portfolios for investors. Utilising a best-in-class Salesforce platform and leveraging technology to optimise to be a key contributor to our team. our operations, we are seeking an Operations Specialist with experience in either payment processing, treasury, or trust accounting.

Key Responsibilities:
Payments and Banking:
- Outgoing Transactions: Manage transactional banking, redraws, and reconciliations.
- Incoming Transactions: Process payment files, oversee application to accounts, handle out-of-cycle collections payments, investigate and apply unallocated funds, and manage discharge receipts.
- Reporting: Collaborate with the Trust Manager and Trustee, providing accurate reports such as stratification reports, cashflow reports, discharges, and redraws.
Operations:
- Security/Custodial Management: Release mortgages, manage the discharge and partial discharge process, consent to subdivisions, title changes, and boundary adjustments.
- Complaint Escalation: Address and escalate complaints communicated via email.
- Asset Enforcement: Oversee asset enforcement and realisations and allocate and manage mercantile agents.
As we onboard new clients, this role will also assist in the client onboarding process, ensuring seamless integration and service delivery.
Role Requirements:
- Experience: Hands-on experience in a mortgage or loan servicing position within a bank or non-bank lender, along with treasury experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Excel (including V-Lookup, Macros), Word, and other relevant applications. Knowledge of PowerBi is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Organization and Communication: Well-organized with excellent communication and prioritization skills.
