The Role

• To manage and lead the PFD Meat room Devonport. quality control, HACCP and service delivery expectations across Tasmania.  

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and implement HACCP, quality and food safety requirements within the standards and timelines required. Ensure the site is ready for HACCP audits in terms of agreed standards, paperwork requirements, and cleanliness.
• Implement Occupational Health & Safety and workers compensation!
• Monitor quality of produced products and ensure orders are completed to deadlines
• Complete rostering of team
• Make sure that all process is adhered to on a daily basis
• Ensure staff under your control read, understand and adhere to their respective job descriptions and procedures.
• Assist in the effective development and expansion of the existing client base.
• Oversee sites operations, and co-ordinate the day-to-day administration of the site
• Ensure that all activities relating to the Company comply with relevant Acts and that all legal obligations and ethical standards are complied with.
• Implement staff evaluation, recruitment and training as required. Ensure all employees receive adequate induction and on-going training for safe work practices.
• Liase with supply partners
• Replenishment of stock on a daily basis
• Liaise with customers to discuss their complaints, instigating corrective action where required.
