As result of member of staff leaving, they are looking to engage a high quality Operations manager to play a key role in the ongoing development of the company
Your new role
The Operations Manager is member of the senior leadership team and plays a key role in staging the business up to grow by implementing the key business systems and frameworks that allows the business to follow the CEO’s strategic direction while being the key safety check on the business by maintaining strong focus on risk and long term business sustainability.
The role leads the following:-
- People management and effective leadership of site supervisor and ancillary staff to support, train develop and empower them to make decisions.
- Managing key stakeholder relations both up and downstream to make sure business remains strong.
- Implementing system of reviewing operational KPI’s including feedback loop and ongoing improvement systems to ensure clients expectations are exceeded.
- Data analysis and management. Working with data sourced from variety sources and using it to ensure educated decisions are taken by leadership team on key performance issues and business objectives.
- Working with site supervisors to manage control and support H&S function.
- Legal, governance, risk and compliance, making sure the business remains compliant with all legal requirements and regulations.
- Implementing the operational management plans ensuring collaboration across divisions at forefront to drive efficiency and quality of service.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate would have tertiary qualification in relevant discipline and have significant experience of working as an Operations Manager in similar organisation with experience of driving, developing and implementing key strategies that are pivotal to the companies transformation and growth.
Candidates would have broad experience covering whole range of business functions including strategy, leadership, governance, compliance, project management, HR, Coaching, financial management and budgeting, stakeholder management, coaching and empowering staff to make good business decisions.
Personality wise, the client is looking for a positive, proactive, driven and engaged Operations Manager with a passion for ongoing improvement and collaborative leadership to help bind the organisation together and fuel future growth.
Candidates would ideally have some subject matter experience in the construction / maintenance / soft services / facilities sector or similar industry.
