Operations Manager, Medical Services

Woods & Co have partnered with an all-around medical and healthcare provider based in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. They provide medical and first aid services to people at all kinds of events in the state.

This company is searching for an Operations Manager to come and assist in improving and streamlining processes and procedures. This is a newly created role including management responsibilities, as well as contributing to the continuous improvement of the business while adhering to government policies and guidelines.

What do you do?

• Lead a team of direct reports and assist with their duties where necessary
• Liaising with clients, maintaining and building on these relationships
• Community engagement
• Recruitment and hiring - determining staffing requirements
• Going to events (such as sporting events & music events) with the team and ensuring everything runs smoothly
• Occasional weekend work (overtime paid when necessary)
• Placing orders for medical equipment needed
• Ensuring the company has appropriate policies and procedures in place, adhering to guidelines and legislation
• Liaising with the Department of Health
• Ad hoc administration when required

What do you need?

• A full Australian driver's license + experience driving a van/ambulance
• Nursing or Paramedic experience desirable
• Qualifications in the medical space desirable
• Strong leadership abilities and the ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive culture
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
