Advanced Robotics Engineering, is a small family operated Robotics and Automation Company based in Pakenham Victoria.
You will be an integral part of the Automation team, ensuring that we provide cost effective, excellent solutions to a wide variety of industries.
Our aim is to foster and grow personal, giving them the opportunity to engage in all aspects of the system development process.
Advanced Robotics Engineering is very team orientated, we are a group of problem solvers, who love to design and create systems. This is not a traditional management role, you will be directly involved in the manufacturing and implementation of automated equipment.
The role is hands on and requires hard work and dedication. The applicants must be engaged and self-motivated.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the manufacture of Automated Equipment.
- Developing detailed workshop planning, to assist in achieving set deadlines.
- Implement plans to ensure building is to manufacturing budgets.
- Assure equipment and machinery is maintained, to lower the possibility of failure.
- Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for ensuring all staff operate in a safe and productive manner.
Role Requirements:
As an Operations Manager, we expect a good understanding of Electro / mechanical machinery. You will have proficient in the reading of mechanical drawings. You will be well versed in mechanical equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic components. Knowledge of Electrical components, such as sensors and electrical motors, will be well regarded. We expect you to have an analytical mind, as well as the drive to implement solutions that you will follow through to the end.
- Be able to show or demonstrate the ability to read mechanical drawings.
- A degree or diploma in Engineering/Mechatronics or similar Mechanical Trade Qualifications or Project management
- You will require a current driver's licence and your own vehicle.
- You will be willing to work the amount of hours required to meet project objectives.
- You will have a can do attitude and be capable of planning work to meet the required timelines.
- Number of years of experience in Automated Machinery will be an advantage.
- A good understanding of all aspects of Automated equipment including; Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Mechanical & Electrical Control aspects.
