Good Living Global is a leader in the outdoor furniture industry supplying major Retail companies across Australia. We are seeking a highly motivated Experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to assist the company become more efficient and to facilitate further growth of the company.

We have a large warehouse in Blacktown NSW, with a smaller warehouse in Perth WA, as well as external partners in Queensland/Victoria and South Australia. Full Customer Service office runs within the Blacktown warehouse/office premises. All fall under the scope of this position.

We seek an experienced Operations Manager with warehousing and distribution experience, and a keen interest to get the job done.  A hands on approach is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Create and maintain a safe work environment for all.
• Hire, train, and develop other team members.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the facility including staff management, customer and employee issues, as needed.
• Responsible for the overall planning organizing leading and controlling functions of the overall Operation – Warehouse and Customer Service.
• Audit facility to confirm compliance with internal procedures as well as accordance with both State and local government regulations.
• Provide direction to team regarding duties and goals
• Manage and review all Job descriptions and Job requirements, with a view to overall improvement of operations.
• Experience in WMS set up would be of great benefit.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a minimum 5 years Operations Management and Warehousing and Distribution experience, 
• Proven staff management ability, including staff scheduling, and use of outside contractors.
• Ability to review and develop full and detailed staff position Job Descriptions, with a view to reviewing and monitoring all roles with the company.
• Strong people Management skills.
• Proficient knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks.
• The ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments and direct the workforce in an ever-changing, warehouse environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
