About Fork Force Australia:
Fork Force is one of Australia’s largest independent materials handling providers offering a one-stop-shop for sales, hire, service and parts for new and used forklifts, walkie stackers, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet trucks and telehandlers.
Our fast-growing, innovative company is expanding into Perth and Western Australia and will join our network of six branch locations around Australia.
We are looking for a passionate individual with a strong mechanical aptitude (ideally with experience in the materials handling industry) to join our company’s senior management team and spearhead our expansion into Western Australia.
About the Role:
The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and National Operations Manager and will be responsible for successfully managing the operations of Western Australia, including the workshop, hire fleet, field service, spare parts, and local transport.
This role also involves the following, but is not limited to;
- Lead and manage the operational activities of the State;
- Recruit, train, mentor and manage the performance of staff;
- Manage and meet the needs of our hire and service customers;
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and engagement;
- Ensure the state and departmental monthly, quarterly and yearly targets are met;
- Assist in the creation of state strategies, goal setting and achievement;
- Assist with the development of annual budgets and meeting them;
- Implement the company annual business plans;
- Monitor and oversee operational quotes and invoicing;
- Monitor rework, lost hours, and work in progress;
- Commercially resolve customer issues while protecting the company’s interests;
- Maximise the profitability of the company and return on its resources;
