About the Team
The Aged Care and Hospital Interface Branch is dedicated to servicing two critical cohorts of participants: those under 65 years of age living in or at risk of entering aged care, and those who are medically ready for discharge from hospitals but face barriers to doing so. Our team works within a specialised pathway that aligns with Ministerial priorities to expedite quality outcomes for participants.
About the Role
As an APS4 Operations Officer, you will work within defined parameters to achieve outcomes that support our objectives. This role involves providing operational and administrative support informed by sound knowledge in service delivery areas, as well as conducting research and analysis activities. You will have significant contact with internal and external stakeholders, requiring you to communicate effectively and provide advice to resolve moderately complex enquiries.
- Undertaking project coordination activities, including related administrative tasks and functions.
- Leading and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
- Providing secretariat support, including coordinating speakers, key messages, agendas, minute-taking, and scribing.
- Managing, collating, interpreting, and analysing data to produce reports and dashboards that inform strategic and operational planning.
- Contributing to the Innovation portfolio and supporting the progression of ideas across key decision-making bodies.
- Monitoring and actioning correspondence, assigning and actioning internal work items within service standards.
- Assisting with mandatory training requests and arrangements as required.
About you
To thrive in this role, you need:
- Demonstrated experience in providing operational and administrative support.
- Strong project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Experience in providing secretariat support.
- Knowledge of the NDIS and related policies and procedures is desirable.
- Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
