The Opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the business ensuring Gympie operations are executed in an efficient and compliant manner with due respect given to all tasks required to safely load and dispatch company fleet and contractors from the Laminex site.

Your Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient scheduling of fleet and contractors going into the Laminex Toolara site.
- Ensure all loads are accurately and timely recorded in the K&S Freighters Freight Management System - Panorama
- Liaise with drivers regarding any pick-up or delivery difficulties or other operational problems
- Liaise with other K&S Divisions to ensure continuous service and information flow to track vehicle movements
- Comply with all Company requirements with respect to the security of Company and customer property, information and assets.
- Ensure compliance by all personnel and subcontractors with the Company’s standards with respect to our customer’s requirements.
- Ensure Coopers Plains Management is advised of any relevant customer problems concerning the condition of consignments dispatched and/or received from the customer
- Ensure all records, information and systems comply with Company policies, procedures and standards
Selection Requirement
- Good knowledge and understanding of the transportation industry.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize work effectively.
- Awareness/knowledge of Fatigue Management and Change of Responsibility (COR)
- Transport / fleet allocation skills essential.
- Ability to manage a diverse mix of Company and Subcontract resource assets.
- Sound knowledge of computer skills ranging from company supported system to excel based skills.
- Good time management skills directed at meeting daily scheduling requirements.
- A strong focus on achieving required customer delivery requirements I. A continual focus on increasing base resources to enhance business capability.
