Operations Scheduler

The opportunity

Reporting to the Production Manager, located in Landsdale, the primary tasks of this role are:

Scheduling

• Create and maintain production schedules for customer orders and stock to achieve DIFOT at best efficiency, for all Company facilities and sub-contractors 
• Monitor manufacturing order progress and identify potential risks, removing or escalating as required 
• Ensure timely communication of confirmed delivery dates, inclusive of risk status 
• Conduct material checks to proactively mitigate supply or inventory issues through collaborating with warehouse and purchasing teams
• Timely planning and release of manufacturing orders and associated documentation to stakeholders to facilitate optimal workflows
• Lodge and maintain approval requests relating to VIN applications, Import approval and RAV product approval requests, ensuring timely close out
• Facilitate vehicle registrations on behalf of customers as required, inclusive of compliance inspections
• Maintain master schedule driving long lead-time material demand to enable purchase to forecast
• Action CRM lead-time approvals in consultation with facility managers 
• Support back office administrative process via the operations administrator 

What you must have

• Solid experience in project planning/resource scheduling
• Experience in a production planning engineering environment
• Understanding of MRP methodologies
• Experience with Tier 1 ERP package
• Understanding of production process and interaction of related process steps
• High level verbal and written communication skills
• Strong experience with Microsoft computer packages 
• Ability to deliver operational outcomes to support strategic objectives
• Tertiary qualifications in business or engineering (desirable)
