Job Vacancy
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual for the permanent position of Operations Superintendent at Kalamia Mill, in Ayr. As Operations Superintendent, you will provide technical and operational advice to our frontline trades and operations teams, ensuring the seamless operation of our processes.
The main duties of the role
- management of the shift operating teams (70 personnel, trades and operators with four shift crews and one day crew)
- monitoring and reporting
- leading process improvement initiatives
- conducting root cause analysis for production-related challenges
You will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical or Process) or substantial experience in manufacturing or production environment
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resourcing planning software
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders
- a working understanding and practical application of Workplace Health & Safety Acts, Regulations, and Codes of Practice would be highly regarded.

The salary offered will be commensurate with individual skills and experience. The indicative salary range is $115,000 to $125,000 per annum based on a nominal 38-hour week.
