Emerald Carrying Company (ECC) is a family-owned business and a leading provider of logistics services. In conjunction with Monaro Fuel Haulage (Monaro), a related family business, the ECC & Monaro Group provides services across Australia, specialising in bulk liquids, general freight & dangerous goods.
About the Role
Reporting to the Depot Manager, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the depot during night shift which includes scheduling and troubleshooting issues as they arise with the driver group.
The Operations Supervisor is to work closely with the Depot Manager to optimize productivity and asset utilisation, whilst always looking for continuous improvement initiatives.
The roster on offer is Monday to Friday night shift 5pm - 5am.
Due to the nature of this role, there is no ability to work from home.

Skills and Experience
All applicants must have full working rights in Australia and prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing as required.
- Petroleum industry experience (highly regarded)
- Demonstrated understanding of heavy vehicle legislation, COR & transport regulations.
- Knowledge and understanding of AFM & BFM rules and regulations.
- A thorough understanding of vehicle operation, types of vehicles, vehicle limitations & technology.
- High computer literacy, with demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly to different systems and software (particularly MS Office Suite & Office Companion)
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills and to work well in a team.
- Strong communication skills
