Operations Support - ANZ SpinCo Distribution Services
As a part of the ANZ SpinCo Distribution Operations team, you will have the opportunity to grow along with the newly formed SpinCo. You will work with a focused team and 3PL partners to deliver high quality healthcare products to our customers. In this new role you will:
- Support the Distribution Centre Lead to achieve KPI targets.
- Provide leadership to ANZ Distribution Centre operations across inbound and outbound operations and inventory management.
- Work closely with the ANZ SpinCo team and 3PL to continually improve service quality and cost.
- Develop and optimise SOPs for distribution operations, such as returns, quarantine, special handling and delivery to increase productivity and quality.
- Support the DC Lead to develop and coordinate country distribution strategies for SpinCo customers
- Provide expertise in systems-based warehouse transactions between SpinCo and 3PL sites in ANZ.
- Identify root cause and solve problems.
- Provide strong analytical support to the Distribution Team.
- Present reports, findings, and projects to management teams.
- Be self-motivated and embrace change.
Key responsibilities:
- Communicate and collaborate with logistics, business, quality and regulatory teams and vendors.
- Expertise in interfaced WMS and able to recognise gaps and required improvements.
- Support and assist DC Lead in daily workload and project-based work as required.
- Visit 3PL site to provide direct communication and visual assessment of activities and inventory.
- Assist with quarantine, damage review, disposal, credit and returns activities.
- Work directly with 3PL to respond to SpinCo requests.
- Produce safety, quality, and service reports for KPI or other reporting.
- Provide analytical support.
- Prepare and present projects and data at stakeholder meetings.
- Provide support to offsite vendor services.
- Develop SOPs within the scope of logistics.
Your Skills and Expertise:
For success in this role, you will have the minimum qualifications of:
- 5 years of experience in a Distribution Centre role, preferably in a Supervisory role
- Experience working with and having a broad knowledge of supply chain, including import, export, inventory, transport, planning and 3PL Services.
- Expertise in SAP EWM or other WMS
- Analytical and Data manipulation skills using Excel, Power BI or other tools.
- Reporting and presentation skills
- Experience with healthcare products and customer expectations.
Work Location: Hybrid eligible; Pemulwuy (North Ryde after spin) with visits to 3PL required.
Must be legally authorised to work in Australia.
