The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Lysaght business in our Production team as an Operations Technician. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

Based in Dubbo, our Technicians play a vital role in our production environment. They operate machinery to create smarter solutions for our customers, while monitoring product quality, remaining committed to their safety and that of the team.

This is a full-time permanent role working  Monday-Thursday (7am – 3.30pm) Friday (7am -1.30pm)on a day shift pattern.

What Will You Do?

This diverse role will offer you variety each day, providing you with scope to showcase your skills that impacts the safety of our people as well as the quality of our products, you will be:

• operatin machinery that forms steel into products for our customers
• safely preloading and unloading our products to trucks
• safely pack and strap our steel products on site to create specific orders
• working within a team environment and supporting the team with general tasks

More About You

Being a reliable and dedicated individual with a willingness to learn and develop yourself, you will also bring: 

• experience in a similar operating environment
• a willingness to undertake forklift training and obtain the relevant license
• a positive attitude and a desire to work in a role that offers career progression
• experience in working in a fast-paced environment
• commitment to your own safety and wellbeing and care for others
