We are on the hunt for a skilled Optical Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on pushing the boundaries of defence technology. You will have the opportunity to design, develop, and optimise optical systems that play a critical role in safeguarding our nation and protecting lives worldwide.
What your day might look like:
- Design lightweight optical systems for UAV's
- Develop optical instruments for defence applications.
- Test and ensure performance of optical components in harsh conditions.
- Model and optimise optical systems for UAV missions.
- Research advanced optical technologies for defence needs.
- Collaborate on integrating optics into UAV platforms.
- Ensure quality and reliability of optical components.
- Ability to obtain Australian Baseline Security Clearance
- Australian Citizenship
- Bachelors degree in related field
- Bonus if you have experience in the defence or aerospace industry
