Form of workWe are looking for oracle Database Engineers for a Global consulting client. This is a long-term contract role based in Sydney & Melbourne Location.
Requirements
- Design, develop, and implement Oracle database instances for the development and production environments in AZURE / AWS Cloud
- Migrate application date from on-prem databases to Cloud databases
- Monitor and maintain database security and database software
- Experienced with DMS (Database Migration Services) Tools to migrate data from On-premises to Cloud.
- Daily maintenance, monitoring, problem resolution and internal customer for production and dev support
- On-call for production databases
- Test, validate and implement performance and resource optimization improvements in consultation with AZURE / AWS development Teams
- Database & Application ( Oracle & PL/SQL ) performance tuning
- Backup and recovery tools of AZURE / AWS & traditional backup & recovery tools
- Root cause analysis of production-related database issues
