Hays Recruitment, Darwin, Northern Territory is currently working with a government-owned Utility Corporation.
Our client is looking for a skilled and dedicated Oracle Financials EBS Functional Consultant to join their project team in a program that will replace legacy systems and uplift capability. The project will re-implement the Finance Management System (Oracle EBS) to address inefficiencies, remediate core financial processes, and improve system integration.Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in Oracle Financials modules to analyse, implement, and optimise financial business processes.- Business Case Support
- Collaborate with Solution Designer and corporation's business teams to understand their financial business processes and gather high level requirements for input into the project business case.
- Process Mapping & Requirements Analysis:
- Document to-be business process flows for financial business processes utilising Oracle EBS.
- Collaborate with business teams to document detailed system requirements.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and opportunities to leverage the Oracle EBS solution.
- Review system design documentation and provide feedback to the design team.
- Oracle Enterprise Business Services (EBS) Expertise:
- Provide subject expertise for EBS implementations and support solution design team to develop the data model and solution architecture documentation.
- Validate outputs produced during the project discovery phase and identify solution gaps and/or additional opportunities to leverage the EBS solution.
- Provide recommendations on the prioritisation and delivery sequence of EBS modules based on experience at other client implementations.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical consultants, project managers, and business stakeholders.
- Educate business stakeholders on the capabilities of EBS solutions and future opportunities to extract value from EBS solutions.
Experience
This role is highly specialised due to the Oracle EBS solution and the successful candidate will require core delivery experience, in-depth industry knowledge, and proven experience in the full end to end project value chain. It also requires strong teamwork experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate in a hands-on lean team environment.
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Oracle Financials EBS Functional Consultant, with a focus on Procure to Pay, Credit to Cash, Accounts Payable, Record to Report, Project to Result and Fixed Assets modules.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite applications and their integration with financial processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial requirements into functional solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and team members effectively.
- Oracle certifications in Financials modules are a plus.
Desirable
- Certifications in one or more Oracle EBS modules.
What you'll get in return
- Daily rate range between $900 to $1000 inlclusive of superannuation
- Full-time work hours
- Initial contract for 8 months with possible extension for another 12 months
- Local applications are preferred however applications from interstate will also be considered
- Hybrid work arrangement (The right candidate if located interstate must travel for work once a month for 5 business days)
- Travel reimbursements and meal allowance provided
- Weekly pay and opportunity to work in the tropical hub of the NT
