About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for you to join our Eastern Health Orthopaedic Surgery Team.
The consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon will work in partnership with the unit to ensure that the services provided to the community are of the highest standards, emphasizing Excellence, Service and Care.
The successful incumbent will be required to perform Elective and Emergency Orthopaedic Surgery throughout all sites at Eastern Health as well as participate in the on-call roster.

About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Must be a registered medical practitioner in the State of Victoria
- Current Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon registration with AHPRA
- Post Graduate qualifications in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Must hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), or hold equivalent qualifications to enable recognition as a specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon.
- Must participate in relevant college continuing education programs particularly related to Orthopaedic surgery.
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
