The Maitland HospitalAbout the role:Our successful candidate will work across the orthopaedic services at The Maitland Hospital, where they will work closely with stakeholders from various professional groups such as Nursing, Allied Health and the Orthopaedic Medical team. Daily duties include overseeing and facilitating communication channels with patients seeking orthopaedic services across various stages of their healthcare journey. This includes coordinating appointments for clinic visits, scheduling elective surgeries, and addressing the needs of patients requiring unplanned surgical interventions.At Maitland Hospital, our commitment to excellence extends beyond patient care to encompass the growth and development of our staff. - Have a sound understanding of the orthopaedic service
- Deliver quality, efficient and effective person-centred care
- Support patients and their families/carers and advocate their needs
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders
- Be a clear and effective communicator
- Four weeks annual leave
- Up to 12 allocated days off each year
- Superannuation contributions 11%
- Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with current AHPRA registration
- Extensive clinical experience in an operating theatre or with orthopaedics is highly desirable
- An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies
