Samson OSHClub is looking for a passionate and motivated Outside School Hours CareCoordinator to provide engaging services for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time opportunity for 34:00 hours per week guaranteed, leading a team of Educators at a medium 40 licence capacity service. This is a fantastic opportunity for those experienced in working with children, dedicated to take ownership of an existing great and large service and passionate about development of a team with great support structure provided by the leadership team.

Hours are as follows: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 09:00 AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 02:30 – 6:00 PM (Stay and Play Program) + additional admin hours. You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!

About the role

Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.

  • Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.

Who are we looking for?

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:

  • Enjoy working with kids.
  • Strong and clear communication.
  • Team player with a desire to become a service leader.
  • Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children.
  • Australian work rights.
  • Must meet ACECQA requirements for 1st qualified. Ideally minimum Diploma qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care) or have completed minimum 2 years of full-time study in a relevant field.
