A new service based in Trafalgar is looking for a passionate and organised Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 30.25 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance!
Exact hours will be determined, but will be allocated between Monday - Friday, 06:30 - 09:00 AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 03:25 - 06:00 PM (Stay and Play Program) plus 4 additional admin hours.
In addition to a competitive salary, there is also a $1000 commencement bonus at the completion of first month plus another $1000 loyalty bonus at 12 months + split shift allowance + uniform allowance + other benefits + super.
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a Primary School in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
* Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
* Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
* Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
* Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

About the service
Based in Trafalgar, this new service would see you embedded in a vibrant and cooperative school community of 400 students and counting. They are situated in a fast-growing town, and have a strong focus on a variety of creative, sporting and cultural activities. Their OSHC has a regular attendance of 10-15 students, meaning you will have the opportunity to create meaningful and lasting relationships.

* Enjoy working with kids
* Strong and clear communication
* Team player with a desire to become a service leader
* Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
