This position qualifies for a Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (pro-rata part-time/temporary positions less than 18 months), and a reoccurring Annual Retention Bonus valued up to $10,000 (pro-rata part time), under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.
Packages may consist of family and compassionate travel assistance, an upfront Rural Recruitment Cash Bonus upon appointment, contributions to professional development, utility reimbursements and study assistance, in addition to relocation benefits and accommodation assistance.
To recognise ongoing service in this role, once the successful candidate has served a qualifying period, they will become entitled to a reoccurring Annual Retention Bonus valued up to $10,000 (as taxable income).

What you'll be doing
The role will provide safe, compassionate, quality, person centred care and work in collaboration with children, young people/families/carers in a multidisciplinary and/or interdisciplinary approach to assist then to navigate the health system, achieve identified goals and outcomes for children and young people living in OOHC and/or who have complex medical and psychosocial needs and/or a child under 10 years with problematic harmful sexual behaviours.

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible
- Tertiary nursing qualification and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Understanding of intergeneration trauma, child abuse and neglect and the legal and policy framework governing child protection in NSW.
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating, negotiating and maintaining ongoing relationships with Department of Communities and Justice, NSW Police, Department of Education and other relevant stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, developing, monitoring, consulting, reviewing complex health management plans.
- Demonstrated experience in prevention activities, community engagement and awareness raising initiatives and local workforce capability building and training (health and inter-agency).
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines within defined resources and capacity to anticipate, respond and resolve complex and critical issues.
- Demonstrated supervisor interpersonal, verbal and written communication, consultation and negotiation skills necessary to build and maintain collaborative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and to work effectively within the multidisciplinary team environment.
- Evidence of current unrestricted NSW drivers licence and a willingness to provide outreach throughout the Far West LHD.
