A service based in Pakenham Lakeside is looking for a passionate and organised Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 35.25 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance!
Hours will be Monday -Friday, 06:30 - 09:00 AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 02:45 - 06:30 PM (Stay and Play Program) plus 4 additional admin hours.
In addition to a competitive salary, there is also a $1500 commencement bonus at the completion of first month plus another $1500 loyalty bonus at 12 months + split shift allowance + uniform allowance + other benefits + super.
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
- Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
- Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
- Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

About the service
Based in Pakenham Lakeside, you would be embedded in a large and caring school community! You'll be working alongside three existing Educators to deliver creative activities and care. The school is highly supportive and communicative.
Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:
- Experience working in an education setting
- Passion for programming OSHC services
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
- Australian work rights
Holds or is working towards a Diploma in an ACECQA approved area (see the ACECQA website for more information)
