Role Overview:
We are seeking several dedicated and compassionate Overnight Boarding Supervisors to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and care of our residential environment during the night. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing, recording, and promptly resolving any issues that arise after hours.
Type: Part-Time, Nightly Shifts (including weekends)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the boarding facility overnight, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all students.
- Address and resolve any issues or emergencies that occur during the night promptly and effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of overnight incidents and communications.
- Provide support and guidance to students, fostering a caring and respectful atmosphere.
- Collaborate with other boarding staff to ensure continuity of care and support for students.
- Uphold and enforce the college’s policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Availability for nightly shifts, including weekends, during the boarding term.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or caregiving role, preferably within a boarding or residential setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
- Commitment to the welfare and development of young people.
- First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
