We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced people to join our boarding team at the Gordonvale campus. Overnight Boarding House Supervisors report to the Head of Boarding and are integral members of the residential support team. As an Overnight Boarding Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our boarding students outside school hours during the night shift from 10pm until 9am. This position offers the unique opportunity to work in a secure, stable environment with the added benefit of aligning your work schedule with the school year, including paid school holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure the safety and security of boarding facilities overnight.
- Provide support and guidance to students as needed.
- Conduct regular checks and patrols of the premises.
- Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies.
- Assist with the implementation of boarding policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and supportive boarding environment.
Applicants must have the following:
- Current Blue Card (for paid employment) is essential
- Qualification and/or experience relevant to this role - including being able to work from 10pm until 9am.
- First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain upon commencement in the role.
- An open driver’s licence is essential
