Position Summary
As the chef on the overnight, you will command the kitchen and be responsible for the preparation of the employee dining and breakfast restaurant while ensuring all guest's In Room Dining orders are prepared and served to the finest standard as directed by the Executive Chef.
The Role
To comply with service standards, departmental policies, and operating procedures set by the hotel.
To produce and prepare a consistent, high-quality product at all times.
To have full working knowledge and capability to demonstrate all duties and tasks in the assigned station to the standard set.
Be flexible and adapt to the requirements of the culinary department.
To maintain the general standards of the kitchen as well as the implementation of the kitchen guidelines and regulations.
Adhere to the Health, Hygiene and Safety guidelines in accordance with hotel policies.
Talent Profile
Tertiary education or culinary qualifications
Experiences in a similar role
Good command of written and spoken English
Competent computer skills
Ability to work overnights
Full working rights in Australia.
