Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior SAP Identity and Access Management (IAM) Lead, your role involves advanced expertise in designing, implementing, and managing IAM solutions within the SAP landscape. The detailed job description includes:
1. **IAM Strategy and Planning:** Develop and lead the overall IAM strategy, aligning it with organizational goals and industry best practices. Create roadmaps for IAM implementations and improvements.
2. **IAM Solution Design:** Design and architect SAP IAM solutions, considering complex business requirements, compliance needs, and security standards. Ensure integration with SAP and non-SAP systems while meeting scalability and flexibility requirements.
3. **Implementation Leadership:** Oversee the end-to-end implementation of SAP IAM solutions. Lead and guide the IAM team through system configurations, customization, and integration, ensuring solutions meet security and business requirements.
4. **Access Governance:** Implement access governance processes within SAP environments, including role-based access control (RBAC), policy enforcement, and segregation of duties (SoD) analysis. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
5. **User Lifecycle Management:** Lead the design and implementation of user provisioning and de-provisioning processes. Streamline user onboarding, transfers, and offboarding procedures within SAP systems.
6. **Integration with SAP Systems:** Ensure seamless integration of IAM solutions with SAP systems, including ERP, CRM, and other SAP modules. Oversee the development of connectors and interfaces to facilitate smooth data flow.
7. **Security Compliance:** Ensure IAM solutions align with security compliance standards and regulations. Implement continuous monitoring and auditing mechanisms to detect and remediate security vulnerabilities.
8. **Incident Response and Troubleshooting:** Act as a point of escalation for IAM-related incidents. Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex IAM issues promptly, minimizing security risks and system downtime.
9. **Collaboration with Stakeholders:** Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and security teams to understand IAM requirements and provide effective solutions. Foster collaboration to achieve secure and user-friendly IAM implementations.
10. **IAM Policy Development:** Develop and enforce IAM policies and procedures. Ensure that IAM practices align with industry best practices and evolving security threats.
11. **Documentation:** Maintain comprehensive documentation of IAM architectures, configurations, and procedures. Facilitate knowledge transfer within the team and contribute to the development of IAM best practices.
12. **Training and Mentorship:** Provide training and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring the development of skills and expertise within the IAM team. Share insights and knowledge to enhance the team's overall proficiency.
Your role as a Senior SAP IAM Lead requires a deep understanding of SAP security, IAM technologies, and the ability to provide technical leadership in designing and implementing secure IAM solutions. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and leadership in a dynamic security landscape.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in working on SAP IAG/IAM modules. Prior GRC experience is added advantage.
- Knowledge on Active Directory, Kerberos, LDAP, OAUTH 2.0, OpenID Connect solutions.
- Define SOD, security role design and build.
- Sap SuccessFactors integration with IAG for identity provisioning and federation to SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Well versed with security roles design for SAP S4 HANA and SAP cloud products(Success Factors, Concur, SAC, BTP)
- Strong workshop and presentation skills.
- Client Relationship and engagement.
