AddressOur client, a local food manufacturer, is currently seeking multiple Packaging and Mixing Operators for a casual ongoing role to commence immediately! Must have availability to work shifts on an ad-hoc basis from Monday to Friday between 10pm and 6am.
These positions require self-motivated people with excellent mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail. This is an excellent opportunity to join a great company with a friendly team environment!
Please note: these positions require you to be available to initially train on day shift - Monday to Friday from 6am to 3pm
Duties (include but are not limited to):
- Operate Packaging and/or mixing machinery
- Accurately weigh ingredients
- Package and box food products
- Identify and report quality issues as you work
- Assist with general warehouse duties
To be successful in this role, you MUST have:
- Previous packaging, proudction or warehousing experience
- An understanding of quality control
- A safety conscious attitude within a warehouse environment
- Be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20-25kg
- A high attention to detail and time management skills
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Current driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle
- 1 - 2 years of experience working in a GMP facility is an advantage
