As a Senior Operator – Mechanical, you will operate and maintain plant and equipment associated with MGP Assets across compression sites and wellfield assets to maximise production, reliability, and plant availability.
Key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Operate and maintain the MGP asset and associated field infrastructure.
- Operate assets aligned with standard operating procedures and guides to maximise production, plant availability.
- Facilitate the completion of scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, with minimising the impact on production.
- Perform all scheduled daily operational tasks, preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Understand and comply with HSE systems and processes, including Life Saving Rules.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Australian Nationally Recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate.
- 5 years experience in same or similar position.
- Gas Test Atmospheres.
- Elevated Working Platfroms (High Risk Work Licence).
- Desirable tickets – First Aid, Enter Confined Spaces, Undertake confined space rescue, Basic Fire Fighting, Forklift, Dogging, Rigging.
- Experience with maintaining and trouble shooting of gas engines caterpillar and waukesha desirable.
