The Role & Key Responsibilities

As a result of continued growth and opportunities, this long term established business is seeking multiple Packing Operators and machine operators for day and afternoon shift, to join our team in a fast paced, high performing and busy environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

Packing Operator Responsibilities:

• Comply with all safe operating procedures and instructions.
• Perform production duties such as sorting, banding, packaging, labelling and manual lifting.
• Marking and/or labelling cartons
• Stacking and piling finished goods on pallets
• Ensure continuous quality control though inspection and examination of printed products for print clarity and external defects.
• Follow the work instructions, work procedures and safety procedures.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a collaborative team,
• Problem solving acumen.

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
• Ability to visually see all colours.
• Excellent attention to detail and delivery of quality and timely products
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong work ethic and team collaboration skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Reliable, honest & resilient
• Demonstrate a strong focus on safety regulations and procedures.
