Packing Room Operator/Warehouse Assistant
Job Summary
Efficient and accurate blending and bottling of our product range, operating our semi-automated bottling line, conducting quality checks, and maintaining a smooth production process. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, good physical fitness, and the ability to do repetitious work as part of a team of 2-3.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate bottling equipment to facilitate production
- Accurately blend bulk products following established procedures
- Assist in inventory management and packing schedules
- Work in accordance with the requirements of our HACCP Food Safety Management system
- Maintain accurate production logs, documenting quantities and quality checks
- Monitor and optimise production line efficiency
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and productivity
- Assist with packing customer orders
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols for a safe work environment
Skills and Experience
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude towards repetitive tasks and a proactive approach to planning (we fill about 220,000 bottles a year).
- Be able to multitask (observe several operations while undertaking a task)
- Good mathematics skills to accurately record production data
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel; experience with databases is an advantage
- Forklift license is advantageous (willingness to obtain one if needed)
- Physically fit, as this role encompasses lifting items weighing up to 25 kilograms and engaging in repetitive tasks.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, production, or food services preferred, though not mandatory

Work Details
The job is Monday to Friday, typically from 8:00am to 4:30 pm in East Queanbeyan. (Please only apply if live within commuting distance)
Salary will depend on your experience and your work rate.
