Inside Out is a boutique therapy practice on the northside of Brisbane with one big goal – provide quality and meaningful support to children, teens and families who are Neurodiverse and enable each individual to live healthy and authentic lives. Inside Out is committed to evidence based practice as well as quality and consistent care for clients as young as toddlers through to adolescence.
Adopting a family centred and coaching approach, Inside Out tailors it’s service to the unique and diverse needs of its clients. Inside Out pulls strategies from various treatment frameworks such as Sensory Integration, Motor Skills Acquisition, Play Therapy, Routines Based Intervention, DIR Floortime, Trauma Informed Care, the PolyVagal Theory and Neurodevelopmental Treatment.
Providing predominantly centre-based services, Inside Out, is looking for motivated and passionate mobile Allied Health Assistant to come and join the team. This role is mostly mobile, where you will have your own resources to take out into the community and provide therapy services to our clients, while working closely with our team of Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language therapists, Physiotherapist and Counsellor within our well-established team.
We have two clinics which are based at Kallangur and Burpengary. Our Kallangur clinic caters for our smaller clients 0-9 years and our BIG Burpengary clinic which was purposely built for have older tween to teen clients, with all the equipment to cater to both our early intervention kiddies but also our tweens and teens!

The Role - Paediatric Allied Health Assistant
Our Allied Health Assistants work in tandem with our dedicated and highly skilled team of therapists. AHAs in our clinics receive a detailed plan to allow them to deliver therapy to children in a range of different environments in a way that is play-based and child-led.
At Inside Out Therapy we use our AHA service to provide a more comprehensive service to our families by giving the child access to more direct one on one sessions. Visits and in-clinic appointments run for 50 minutes face to face, with all travel and administration time built into your day.
When you aren't seeing clients you will be supporting the team with making resources, keeping the clinic functioning be that helping behind desk or sanitising therapy items and ensuring everything always looks presentable and ready for our beautiful clients.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience working with neurodiverse children
- Keen interest and passion for working with children
- Skills in the assessment of client’s strengths and abilities
- Good written and verbal communication skills including computer skills
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to and willingness to participate in professional development
- Have an Australian Driver's License and own your own reliable vehicle
Job Details:
- Our core working hours are 7:45am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday
- You will be rostered on according to client appointments and your availability
