AddressStay Balanced Physiotherapy is a rapidly growing healthcare organisation providing Allied Health services based in Brisbane. Our team work across South East Queensland offering mobile in-home rehab services, as well as operating from our practice facilities in Alderley.
We have a strong focus on hands-on treatment, exercise prescription and ongoing education. We receive a diverse caseload of clients including Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedic, Sports, Paediatric, Cardiothoracic and Neurological clients from our NDIS and Community referrers.
We are currently looking for Allied Health Assistantsto join our team.
These positions are suitable for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. In this position you will deliver individualized treatments that help every client reach the goals they desire working alongside our Allied Health team. These positions will initially start as casual positions but can become part time/full time depending on personal circumstances.

Duties/Responsibilities:
ALLIED HEALTH ASSISTANT
Your role will include a variety of services across community and residential such as;
- Implementation of physio created exercise programs and administration.
- Knowledge and willingness to perform massage as part of prescribed treatment as directed by Physiotherapists.
- Dry Needling and/or Pilates Qualification (not essential, training available)
- Remedial Massage - Please note this position will require a large portion of massage due to clientele.
Skills/Experience:
- Certificate III or IV Allied Health Assistance, or suitable experience in a similar position.
- Remedial Massage Diploma (not essential, but favourable). Please note this position will require a large portion of massage due to clientele.
- Car License + Car Essential
- Ability to follow instructions, policies and procedures.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to relate to others in a sensitive and professional manner.
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Well-developed organisational skills, with an ability to manage your own workflow and cope with competing demands.
- Able to work autonomously and able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Current Valid police check or willing to get one
- Current Working with Children check
- Rights to work in Australia
