For over 11 years we have been providing high quality best practice Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, and Psychology services to our expanding clientele across the metro area and into rural and remote areas.
We work with people of all ages, through private and government funding, with or without a diagnosis.

As our Paediatric Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist, you will
Lead a team of Physiotherapists with a range of supports available to the whole team
Provide supervision to junior therapists and / or lead one of DST’s specialist teams depending on your area of interest and passion
Work with individuals, families and their key stakeholders in your area of expertise to create individualised, family-centred plans
Provide 1:1 and group support with children and teenagers in your area of expertise
Be part of a transdisciplinary team to develop holistic therapy plans for school-based and home-based intervention and support programs
Enjoy working in a flexible environment alongside other experienced therapists
Be provided with a timetable based on clinical caseload to match your area of expertise
Have the enthusiasm to work in a team and contribute to everyone’s success
Take part in weekly clinical supervision to ensure you feel supported and to promote your growth and development
Contribute to fortnightly discipline-specific meetings, transdisciplinary meetings and seniors meetings across disciplines to learn from and share your knowledge and skill
Skills and Experience
The passion for helping clients to reach their fullest potential and to address goals through fun, yet functional therapy
10+ years experience as a Senior Physiotherapist and developing positive relationships in supervising junior therapists (to support their development)
Clinical paediatric expertise in a community or hospital setting and expert knowledge in complex paediatric conditions (such as Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Chromosomal Deletion Disorders, Epilepsy, Autism and other genetic conditions)
Willingness to travel in the South Metro, Mandurah and Peel regions to deliver specialist clinical knowledge to junior therapists and to provide 1:1 assessment and intervention sessions to children and teenagers.
Ability to work in and contribute to a transdisciplinary team and with key participant stakeholders
Skills in client-centred and family-centred practice
Effective organisational and time-management skills
Experience with problem solving and conflict resolution
Strong communication skills to support advocacy, mediation, negotiation and requirements
Awareness of multi-disciplinary team dynamics
Ability to advocate for DST services within the local community
You will need to have
Relevant Physiotherapy Degree/Masters qualification
AHPRA Registration - Physiotherapy
Working With Children Check
NDIS Worker Screening Check
National Police Check
Driver’s Licence
