Brisbane Urology Clinic is a group practice of 10 specialist surgeons. We provide urological care for patients' in Brisbane and surrounding suburbs incorporating Queensland Urology Clinic in Rockhampton, Bundaberg and various other regional centers throughout Queensland.
About the role
The main focus of your role will be to provide exceptional patient care and service at the front desk, support to our team of surgeons, nurses and secretaries to ensure the smooth operation of our practice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Meeting and greeting patients at front desk
- Electronic diary management
- Incoming call flow management
- Electronic patient file management (includes inbound and outbound) digital faxes and emails
- Patient account management including DVA, Medicare, WorkCover and Eclipse processing
- Liaising with other medical specialists and health professionals as required
- End of day banking reconciliation
- Assisting patients with enquiries
- Assisting doctors with obtaining results
- Hours 8.00-5.00pm Monday - Friday
Skills and experience
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Specialist Practice
- High level of customer service and empathy
- Mature work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to work autonomously when required
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Excellent phone manner
- Audio typing experience preferred
- Meticulous attention to detail
