Paint & Sip Artist/ Instructor

Our new studios, a captivating beautiful converted church hall in Mitchelton and our Samford venue will host memorable wine and cocktail / canvas sessions as well as an art store and vintage market, both locations are crafted as a limitless canvas itself. Embracing a feminine, tranquil ambiance, our space is a sanctuary for like-minded creative souls to shape their visions without boundaries.

As an Artist and Host at Studio Artisono, you will play a pivotal role in curating an exclusive Paint and Sip/ Canvas experience. Serving as the primary entertainer for our sessions, you'll provide expert guidance in step-by-step painting instruction. Your responsibilities extend beyond the canvas to encompass beverage preparation, customer support, and creating an unforgettable atmosphere for our guests. Our goal is to ensure each visitor departs not only with a unique work of art but also with cherished memories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare upcoming sessions by organizing materials.
• Ensure the studio is set for the next session by tidying up and cleaning materials.
• Welcome customers, assist with seating, provide aprons, and explain the session plan.
• Break down paintings, offer step-by-step guidance, and manage time effectively during sessions.
• Act as the session's host, engaging with the crowd, providing support, and encouragement.
• Encourage social media engagement and capture moments by actively taking photos.
• Maintain flexibility and collaborate with the team to optimize the overall customer experience.

Shift Requirements:

• Casual position with flexibility for varied hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.
• 3-4 hour shifts per class.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Outgoing and social individual with a passion for art and teaching.
• Ability to replicate and teach paintings effortlessly, fostering a creative environment.
• Punctual, presentable, and excellent communication skills.

Experience and Education:

• ABN holder preferred.
• Blue Card (preferred but not essential).
• RSA or willingness to obtain.
• Currently studying art or possessing a strong passion for it.
• Familiarity and experience with acrylic medium preferred.
• Previous experience in teaching art, particularly in group settings, is highly advantageous.
