Form of workYAT Engineering and Construction are seeking a Painter Blaster for FIFO operations based at Sino Iron Ore in Cape Preston, Southwest of Karratha. You will be required to work a 12-hour day shift on a contract that will run for 6 months with the roster being negotiable between a 4/1, 3/1, 2/1 or 9/5.
To be successful in this role, you must be experienced with high regard to safety and possess the following:
Skills:
- High attention to detail.
- Great communicator with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a close team environment.
- Possess a high regard and practice of health and safety.
- Ability to use independent judgement to select construction methods, equipment, and materials to complete a job.
- Must have the right to work in Australia.
Certificates, Licence & Tickets:
- Current driver's licence.
- Current high-risk work licence. (HRWL)
- Construction white/blue card.
- Working at Heights certification.
- EWP over 11 metres on HRWL.
Advantages would be:
- RB / RI Certification.
- Confined Space certification.
- LF Certification.
- Previously worked at Sino Cape Preston.
- Experience with permit to work systems.
