The Pallet Controller will be responsible for ensuring all relevant pallet and cage paperwork is followed up and sent to the right area. This important role primarily encompasses:
- Ensure compliance with Returnable Packaging process.
- Collect, sort, and validate pallet paperwork daily and scan to Returnable Packaging team.
- Debrief paperwork to ensure all driver have returned relevant pallet paperwork.
- Data Entry in Tollworks according to Debriefing/Pallet Movements
- Raise transfer off dockets from 2IC as required.
- Communicate with customers on aged Transfers balances.
- Influence operations with concise effective communication.
- Training and development of employees, subcontractors & outside hire.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Complying with control procedures for hired equipment (pallets & cages). Identifying and reporting instances of non-conformance.
- Comply with written procedures involved with the physical movement of hire equipment in or out of Team Global Express sites.
- Equipment control inductions for subcontractors.
- Collect, sort, and validate pallet paperwork daily and scan to the Returnable Packaging Team.
- Work in partnership with the site debriefer to ensure all driver have returned relevant pallet paperwork.
- Prepare, maintain & control monthly pallet summaries.
- Develop the competence of other employees, subcontractors & outside hire, assist in their awareness of pallets by identifying and organising the training and work experience necessary to meet the individual's needs.
- Raise transfer off dockets from 2IC as required.
- Ensure that all duties within the department are covered when leave is taken.
- To complete tasks as set out by the manager/supervisor.
OHS Responsibilities:
- Follow TGE and legislative health and safety requirements to do with their roles and responsibilities.
- Identify and report hazards, injuries, and incidents.

Desirable Qualification & Experience:
- 2IC knowledge (preferred).
- Proven problem-solving ability with a solutions orientation.
- Industry knowledge with some experience with pallet procedures is preferred.
- Literacy and numeracy skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel).
