What you'll be doing- Provide specialist Palliative Care clinical services in an inpatient, outpatient and consultation liaison setting.
- Join a leading academic clinical research department.
- Supervise and train junior medical staff and participate in teaching on an informal and formal basis.
- Participate in the Department's research and audit/quality improvement program.
- Engage in continuous learning practice.
- Participate in the on-call roster of the department.
About youTo be successful in the role you must have:
- You will be extensively trained in a relevant specialty with a passion for Palliative Care and experience in mentoring and sharing experience with other staff. Your ability to work independently will aide your success, as will prior experience in research (though not a requirement).
- You will also have:
- Specialist Registration in Palliative Medicine with AHPRA
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or equivalent, with subspecialty training in Palliative medicine, or Fellowship in the Chapter of Palliative Medicine of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FAChPM)
