SalaryMorgan Smash are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Panel Beaters to join their team in Heathcote Vic.The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:- Remove damaged panels and parts and remove upholstery and accessories to gain access.
- Remove dents by hammering panels.
- Straighten damaged vehicles and parts using mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
- Replace badly damaged sections with new or second-hand panels.
- Fill depressions with plastic filler, and filing, grinding, and sanding repaired surfaces.
- Cut and join replacement sections using welding equipment.
- Fit repaired or replacement panels on vehicles and refit body hardware such as door locks and trims
- Assist vehicle body builders in constructing and restoring custom-designed, vintage, and other specialty vehicles.
- Assists spray-paint vehicles.Skills & Abilities:- Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology or equivalent
- Ideally have a minimum of three years' experience as a qualified Panel Beater
- A strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
- The ability to work in a team environment.Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience.
