We are seeking a skilled and experienced paramedic to provide to support our client’s windfarm project in Burra South Australia. The successful candidate will be capable of working independently and have extensive remote/exploration experience. This is a long-term contract with a start date of 20th April 2024 and includes generous allowances and benefits.
Working out of both an onsite clinic and custom 4wd Ambulance you will immerse yourself into the project supporting our client including regular participation in construction team pre starts, risk assessments and daily information and education sessions across this extensive site.
Essential Requirements
- Current unconditional AHPRA paramedic registration
- Previous experience as a sole response paramedic in remote regions is essential
- HLTPAT005--Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing or equivalent
- Valid National Police Certificate (*issued within the past 3 months)
- Construction Industry White Card
- 4WD certification or willing to obtain
- Current ALS1 or ALS2 qualification
- Valid and unrestricted manual Australian driver’s license
- GWO certification or willing to obtain
- Competitive hourly rate of $64, including on-call allowance
- Daily meal allowance of $75 – tax free
- Mobilisation allowance of $250 – per swing
- Apartment-based accommodation provided in Burra
- Long-term contract with a 2:2 roster (12-hour days, on-call night shift)
