In this multifaceted position, your key responsibilities will include:
- Crafting advice documents aligned with the specified "Scope of advice" to meet clients' needs, objectives, and compliance requirements.
- Vigilant research on changes to products, services, legislation, and strategy options.
- Collaborating with Advisers in managing client relationships.
- Conducting peer checks on Statements of Advice (SOAs) for accuracy and completeness in adherence to advice requirements and compliance.
- Assessing client risk adversity and translating client needs and objectives into the scope of advice.
As your confidence and capability in SOA writing grows, you will have the opportunity to write more comprehensive strategies, and if you want to, eventually become an AA.
To excel in this role, you must:
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the financial planning industry.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of various products, services, and strategies, including legislation and tax implications.
- Be well-versed in regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Preferably, have prior experience with Xplan, including Risk Researcher and Wealth Solver.
