Paraplanner

We are a boutique self licensed Financial Planning business looking for a friendly and motivated paraplanner/practice manager to join our small team.

As a business, we are committed to providing employment that is supportive, flexible, and family friendly, with a focus on work-life balance. Therefore the hours for this role are negotiable, ideally between 23-38 hours p/w.(eg: 4 days a week, 5 school hour days, 9 day fortnight etc)

This role reports to the Principle Adviser/Associate Adviser.

Job tasks and responsibilities

This role requires you to prepare SoA's for both new and existing clients (research, analysis, development of strategies, preparing advice document), as well as manage the implementation of advice (supported by our administrative staff). It will also help co-ordinate the admin team to ensure the advice is implemented in accordance of the recommendations..

Candidate must:

• Have a minimum of 3 years experience as a paraplanner
• Have a Diploma in Financial Planning
• Be experienced with Xplan is prefered
• Have excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
• Be able to take initiative, be proactive, and work autonomously
• Have integrity
• Have strong written and verbal skills
• Be punctual and reliable

Our office is in a great location which also has a Child Care Centre onsite for those working parents.
